Courses and Duties
The Language Institute runs general language courses in English, Japanese, French and Arabic. In addition, specialised language courses are administered which cater to the specific needs of individual employers in Doha.
Prior to the start of each course teachers produce schemes of work outlining the aims and outcomes for each week of the course. Teachers are expected to prepare teaching material and unit tests for classes, submit detailed lesson plans, keep accurate records of student attendance, test results and course work. Teachers may also be assigned additional duties such as preparing examinations or syllabi.
